My New Year's dinner with vrghr was excellent. The dinner included shrimp for the appetizer, pork roast with sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, dumplings and black-eyed peas. My official weight on January 1st was 255 lbs. My goal for this year is to get down to 225-230 lbs. Of course, I will strive to lose even more.

Snow and icy roads prevented me from driving to Denver for the "Robin's Nest" New Year's Eve party. My attempts to fall asleep after dinner were unsuccessful.
